ENVS 17 Marine Policy class visit to Boston September 30, 2013
On September 30th, 2013, students in the ENVS 17: Marine Policy class journeyed to Boston for first-hand experience exploring oceans ecosystems, learning about ocean science, and understanding marine conservation efforts. The trip started at the New England Aquarium, where students were able to observe many marine species in simulated habitats. We then set sail with the SEA Semester Program on board their research and education vessel, the SSV Corwith Cramer. During the three hour sail, students got to help sample both sediments and surface waters in Boston Harbor.
