The Barnegat Bay Partnership (BBP) is seeking to fill an opening for a full-time field and lab coordinator to be based in our Toms River office. The selected candidate will assist BBP staff with various field and laboratory projects, including water quality monitoring/testing and wetlands, jellyfish, and fisheries monitoring and assessment. They will be responsible for the care of field and laboratory equipment, including various water quality meters and other gear, and will assist with data collection, data entry, and preliminary data analyses and graphical presentation using spreadsheet, database (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Access) and other software. The position also supports field and laboratory projects by conducting literature reviews and drafting short sections for reports. As with all BBP staff they will also be expected to communicate with the public informally regarding the field and or laboratory projects they work on.
