Wilderness Fellowship Opportunity with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Park Service

Wilderness Fellows will be stationed in National Wildlife Refuges or National Parks where they will work with refuge staff to implement a new wilderness stewardship inventory and monitoring initiative. We anticipate funding eight Wilderness Fellows this year, six with National Wildlife Refuges, and two with National Parks. Duties include identifying wilderness character measures of interest to the refuge or park, implementing inventory and monitoring strategies, and handling other duties to support wilderness stewardship within the assigned refuges or parks.
