ENVS 80.08 Project – Social Impact Practicum Video

Students in Professor Melody Burkins' course, ENVS 80.08: Science Policy and Diplomacy, create a social impact practicum video at the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Park in Cornish, NH. Yilin Huo '22, Sydney Merrill'22, Elisabeth Sanson '20, and Mary Tobin '20 produced the video at the request of the Preservation Education Institute of Historic Windsor Inc., and in partnership with The Dartmouth Center for Social Impact.

A Social Impact Practicum (SIP) is a project-based experiential learning opportunity connecting undergraduate courses at Dartmouth with community needs identified by nonprofit organizations throughout the Upper Valley. Grants for SIP's are available through the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact.
