Chaudhary nominated to National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine committee
Dr. Bala Chaudhary, Associate Professor of Environmental Studies has been nominated to a National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine committee on Continent-Scale Biology. This ad hoc committee of the National Academies will convene over the next year to conduct a consensus study to identify important themes and theory for biological research connecting micro to macroscales. The committee will hold a series of workshops with research stakeholders to build a vision and national research agenda for biology conducted at continent scales.
