Announcing the 2025 BES Award winners: Bala Chaudhary, Equality & Diversity Champion Awardee
Professor Bala Chaudhary was honored with the British Ecological Society's 2025 Equality and Diversity Champion Award, which celebrates those who've made outstanding contributions to enhancing the practice of equality and diversity in the ecological community.
The Equality and Diversity Champion recognises the importance of equity, diversity and inclusion in ecology. It is awarded to an individual or group who have enhanced the practice of EDI in the ecological community or served as an inspiration to others.
Winner: Bala Chaudhary, Dartmouth College
