Featuring Sam Evans-Brown of NHPR. Sam Evans-Brown is an award winning reporter for New Hampshire Public Radio and host of the Outside/In podcast.
He has reported extensively on the proposed Northern Pass Project, and recently released a four-part story on Hydro-Quebec, the massive state-owned, Canadian hydropower producer whose energy the proposed power lines would transport. The series, called Powerline, explores the trade-offs that are inherent in powering our way of life in New England. Sam is coming to Dartmouth to share how his eight-month investigation came to life, and to discuss how he navigates explaining complex issues in enlightening and entertaining ways.
