LA community groups discuss policing as part of the "Crossroads: Intersections of Los Angeles' Energy, Environmental, Housing, and Racial Justice Movements" series.
Members of the Anti-Recidivism Coalition, Dignity and Power Now, and Felon to Freeman organizations participate in a panel discussion, "Beyond Policing: Centering Coalition Against Police Power," as part of the "Crossroads: Intersections of Los Angeles' Energy, Environmental, Housing, and Racial Justice Movements" series. Dartmouth Professor Ivy Schweitzer moderates.
The series will feature academics, grassroots activists, lawyers, local government officials, and nonprofit organizations and will focus on three interconnected landscapes: housing resources, policing, and environmental racism
